Bagel, Dragon Ball & Work!

Weds. August 8, 2018

Just relax.

I have to say, working a dinner shift is the best because I get to sleep longer in the mornings. I did not get up until 9:30 this morning. It felt great! So great that after brushing my teeth I put shoes and a shirt on, grabbed a hat and took off.

I woke up with a taste for a cinnamon raisin bagel and coffee. I figured it was a great way to start my day so I jumped in my car and drove right over Dunkin’ Donuts. I wanted to be productive at the same time so before leaving the house I set a load of clothes to wash. The truth is, when I rolled out of bed and looked down at the clothes I remembered that I actually needed them for work tonight. Luckily, I thought about it or else I would have had to put on my good clothes and risk ruining them.

Afternoon confusion.

Back in the house I worked on the blog for a bit. I am not sure if I want my post to show in full length or summary. I think it looks clean in summary but I also like how the entire post can be read in full view. I went back and forth with it a few times and decided to leave it in full. I might change it back. Very confused.

While gathering a few articles for the Motivation page I watched a few episodes of Dragon Ball. Only 145 more to go. It has been a while since I have seen these episodes so it is a little shocking to witness how perverted the show is. I always knew Master Roshi was lady chaser but he does not even compare to the rest of the anime. Very interesting to see the difference in episodes from then to the new series. Also interesting is how as a child, we are innocent and do not even realize what is happening. Youth.

Time to make it.

Around 3:15pm I left the house to head to work. I had to meet the lady I work with at a luxury apartment building in Hoboken. Before getting there I thought I would pick up a snack from a local healthy place. While trying to find it I realized it was going to more challenging than it should have been. The entire place had double parked cars and the street parking was all ‘residential parking.’ I mean every street within a mile radius had a bright green sign on it. I just wanted to stop for an acai bowl but with the parking restrictions I never got it.

At the site I met up with the lady. It was now 4:15pm, I was bowl-less and thirsty. The temperature was at its peak and all I could think about was how refreshing that bowl filled with acai and fruit would have been. I had to let the dream go.

Bitmoji ME sad

After shifting our cars three times, for better visibility from the door, we got right to work. The last time we were there it rained on and off but the number at the end was pretty good. There were also three of us so the process moved smoother. Today the sun was shining and it was just she and I. 90% of the time we were on fire. Keeping a nice pace and making sure people did not wait too long. During the final stretch we were exhausted from the heat and our bodies had slowed down. The last three customers had to wait but thankfully they did not mind.

We shut down at 8:45pm after completing a great service.

By 10:30pm I was home in the shower. Right after I sat down to have a really late dinner while watching another episode of Dragon BallI’m dedicated to watch it all.

An Interesting Time At The Café!

Tues. August 7, 2018

Last night was rough.

I woke up at 3:30am to the power going down for seconds. I am a light sleeper and heard it in my sleep. I knew the air conditioner had shut down along with my computer because the room had gotten quiet. Then I woke again at 6am thinking it was time to go soon realizing I was an hour ahead of my alarm. When it did go off I was basically already awake. My mind was focused on not sleeping through it.

I had to meet the lady I work with at 9 so we could head into New Hope, Pennsylvania. We were going to set up the café as best as possible with the appliances we had from the delivery on Friday. Today we had even guests, her son and his friend, to help us move things around. The more we muscle the merrier.

Getting things set!

On the way to New Hope, we stopped at Panera Bread for breakfast. I order a Superfruit smoothie again but instead of a butter-less bagel I chose a new item in the pastry window, triple berry scone. It was my first time eating a scone and I have to say, it was good. It was a bit thick so next time I will grab a coffee to pair with it. I think a hot cup of joe would make it better.

In PA we got right to it. Well as best as possible. After tearing half of the box from the refrigerator we could see an issue. I looked slightly bigger than we hoped. Even the contractor as he left us said, “I hope the fridge fits.” At the time we paid it no mind but taking a few measurements it was very obvious that the refrigerator she order was too big.

bitmoji-20180802111602

Bitmoji ME, confused

Scrambling for ideas the only option the lady I work with could think of was to call the contractor back as reinforcements. Our minds – the lady I work with, her son, his friend and I – could not find a way to get it in. Besides that, we could not even figure out how to get it off of the double pallet it was on. We were in a serious bind.

Thankfully the contractor and his buddy were not too far from us. After waiting about 20 minutes they showed up and were the most help. Right from the door they started to plan out how they were going to get it off the double pallet and possibly squeeze the 54 in stainless steel refrigerator through a 44 in walkway, to then get it past the door frame.

As they planned, most of it worked. We were able to eliminate one pallet getting it onto a platform with wheels. From there the contractor and his buddy tried to wiggle their way through the door frame only to wedge it tight letting the fridge prove its point, too big. After that we tried to remove all padding but that did not work. The last option was to have all six of us – the contractor, his buddy, the lady I work with, her son, his friend and I – hoist that 519 pound beast over the counter. That was a no-no. Way to heavy. She called the retailer to return it right it away. We tried our best.

After the contractor and his buddy left we handled the rest since the refrigerator was no longer in our way. the two boys and I unboxed and built a hot table while the lady I work with took off to meet a local realtor. She is the market for a closer home to the café and for her mother. We also throw out the trash from the torn boxes and broken pallets.

Café project ceased

Around 2:30pm all of us left the place as clean as possible. On the way back to her house we stopped at a place in Hopewell with good fresh food, Brick Farm Market. I had a teriyaki sandwich with spicy pickled cucumber salad on top. Very good.

Back at her house a bit before 4pm. I stayed for a short time to talked about the fridge situation. We need plans to replace it but cannot afford to make the same mistake. We thought of a few ideas but what to do, what to do?

On my way home, I had the biggest scare. It was well into the 90s today with the sun beaming down on earth as if it were trying to roast my side of the equator. It affected me big time. I ended up slightly falling asleep coming close to the highway divider. If it were not for an empty bottle that I ran over I would have definitely hit it. The bottle woke me up in shock with just enough time to react.

Finally home I went straight to bed. I needed some rest.

I ended up being woken to the sound of thunder and rain hitting the side of the house. It was very frustrating to be up because I could have really used another hour of shut eye. I even planned on it by setting my alarm beforehand. But since I was up I decided to eat. Pepper steak with white rice. As I ate I listen to a few mixtapes. Artists that I used to listen to in the past came out with new music. I was excited but, in the end, they were not good.

Then I watched two episodes of Dragon Ball, the original, before getting on Fortnite.

It Started Good, Got Bad, Then Better!

Mon. August 6, 2018

Is this night 2 or 3?

I probably woke up about three times last night. Not to use the bathroom like yesterday but because I could not sleep. I did not even dare to look at the clock in hopes I would fall back to sleep. By the time 7:30am came around I was already up and moving. I thought about going back to sleep but my mind would not let me.

Instead I turned on my 22 inch monitor and got to typing, reviewing articles, looking for a new car and watched a live stream of the new Call of Duty game coming out in October.

9am. I was walking out of the door to car.

I had to stop by the bakery before heading into Jersey City for work. While at the bakery I went to order my usual two cappuccinos but overheard the guy in front of me request ice coffee. Interested I asked the cashier if they had any. To my surprise they did. But not some regular iced coffee, it was iced cappuccino. After getting it and taking a sip I realized something. They have a great idea going and it beats any Dunkin’ Donuts and Starbucks out there. Teixeira Bakery has out done themselves.

Driving into Jersey City I decided to take a bridge that was opened up a month ago. It was supposed to be a faster way into town but I have doubts now. Traffic was a pain in the butt to get through and I do not think I will be taking it again. When I did make it through I took the back streets. It was a much smoother rider.

After parking all I could think about was the lady I work with trying the iced coffee. We are big fans of the bakery coffee and after this I knew we would be hooked. She loved it. Even drank it faster than me and I had a whole car ride with it.

Not a good start.

The day started off happy. She was bright and joyful loving her coffee. Then an email came in from the catering we did on Saturday with not so good remarks. For our first time trying something like that, it seemed we failed. The people at the party were not satisfied and it hurt the lady I work with. She gets disappointed when people do not like something she offers. Unfortunately, not everyone has a tongue for a foreign taste. Especially when they expect it to be something else. But lessons learned for the future.

For today – win some, lose some.

After that her day went to the trash. Business was slow, it was over 90 degrees and all she could think about was the email. The only good part of our shift was all the love received from our regulars. After a month of not being there they all came out to chat and eat. So many happy people. Unfortunately, it was not enough.

Business night!

We finished up around 2pm and officially shut down around 3. I was home within 45 minutes and enjoying a nice cool shower. Today is Monday which means office night. I missed a big event on Saturday because of the catering so I was glad to be going in. But I was home earlier than normal and able to relax.

Around 6pm my parents showed up with my nephew. I love that little guy. After playing with him for a bit I had to get ready to go. My outfit for the night was olive green chino pants, a light blue button up, brown belt and shoes. It was my first time wearing the combo so I hope it looked good.

On the way to the office I stopped at Dunkin’ Donuts to get an iced tea lemonade. If the lady I work with was to get a break, today was not the day. It actually got any worse. We are going to be at the café tomorrow and needed a key. After taking an hour drive to New Hope, PA, the key was nowhere to be found. One of the managers of the building had left it in a cup but someone had walked off with it. I felt so bad for her. That means we have to rely on the contractor of the building to be present. If not, tomorrow we won’t be getting in the building.

At the office I was ready to learn. The topic for the night was ‘Mastering Communication.’ I thought my talking skills were good but I learned how to improve them. Some highlights: ask, empathize, don’t rush, talk to the decision maker, speak well of others.

Good night!

Home by 10pm back in front of the computer. I am determined to find a new car. I also need to figure out a schedule for the Motivation page. Timings will be changed over the next few weeks to see what works.

In bed by 12:30am to wake up at 8am

The Date I Have Been Waiting For!

Sun. August 5, 2018

Nightfall horror.

Last night was a rough one. I got up to pee at least FOUR times and each time whining about the last. When morning came I wanted nothing more than to sleep in until noon. But that could not happen. Today was going to be awesome.

I got out of bed around 9:30am and jump right on the computer. I worked on a few things for about an hour before I got up to use the bathroom. Apparently last night was not enough. Then back to the keyboard as the brain juices mixed.

Bitmoji ME thinking

Around 12:30pm I had myself a cup of coffee as I looked through my closet for 90 degree weather clothing. Today was going to be hot, actually it was already hot. After putting on 3 different pairs of shorts I found one I really enjoyed. I do not wear shorts often so sometimes they feel funny. To go with my chino shorts was a light grey polo and all white Adidas sneakers. A half an hour later I was on the road headed to my girlfriend’s house.

A long overdue date.

Finally, there I let myself in with the spare key I have in my car for emergencies. My girlfriend was doing her sister’s hair and could not let me in. I just made myself comfortable by grabbing a fresh banana and cold bottle of water.

20 minutes later she comes down from her room. The entire time I thought she was in the studio so I did not even bother to check upstairs. I even unlocked the back door because I thought they locked themselves out. I was very surprised. Why were they so quiet!? Apparently her sister was reading a book out loud to them and I just could not hear.

The moment she came down we gather our stuff and headed out. We were going in the city today. New York, New York. There is an eye glass place called Warby Parker with really nice frames. A couple of months ago my girlfriend actually put two pairs on hold. All she needed was her prescription for the order to finalize so today was the day to do it.

The trip into New York was a ‘sarcastic’ blast. We got lost adding 15 minutes to the GPS and then had to sit in traffic as we made our way to the Holland Tunnel and then through. We did get into New York until 3:30pm. Surprisingly finding parking was not so bad. We drove around the block 3 times and voila, a spot opened up as we pulled into the street. It was only a two block walk away the shop and we were there.

We even visited the Apple store to use their bathroom. After sitting in traffic for 45 minutes our bladders were hurting. Thank you Apple for having clean public bathrooms.

Next on the list.

While my girlfriend got her glasses situated I decided to get myself a pair as well. I needed a new pair with my updated prescription so it worked out. But the purchase was almost on impulse. I needed them but did not really want them. I am glad though. I know when they arrive in a few days I will be more than satisfied.

(found on Warby Parker)

Finished with the glass talk she and I took a walk around for a bit. We were hungry so that was our next mission. Thanks to Google Maps I was able to find a Cuban restaurant about a 7 minute walk away. The name was not very creative, Cuba, but the place was nice. Outside does not do it justice. The food was even better. Nothing like I thought it would be. I had medium well salmon with coconut rice, shrimp and lobster sauce. It was phenomenal! It was also the first time someone ever asked what rarity I wanted my fish.

20180805_170145-e1533611269237.jpg

She and I also shared a pitcher of sangria which I drank most of. I might have left there a bit tipsy. Good thing I was not driving. But on the walk back to the car with the heat and exercise that buzz quickly evaporated. I was a bit sad.

Done in the Big Apple.

Leaving New York was a piece of cake compared to getting in.

On the way back, I even had my girlfriend make a pit stop. I wanted a really good acai bowl from the place that introduced it to me, Tiki Bowls. Compared to the place by my house I would prefer these guys any day. Their bowls taste fresher and the servings are larger.

20180705_222938

Back at her house by 7:30pm and ready to relax we dropped ourselves on the couch. For about 2 hours we tried to stream a TV show, “The Missing, but the internet kept dropping forcing me to stop it entirely. I tried my best to keep it going but I was so annoyed and over it. Back to actual cable we flipped through the channels until we found a good movie. The remote landed on SyFy because they were playing “Rush Hour 3.” One of our favorite series of movies and a perfect way to end the night.

Catering of The Year For The Big 8-0!

Sat. August 4, 2018

I got it, but at a cost.

There was no way that I was going to miss out on getting a bowl today. I planned it out – wake up early, get some writing in, leave early.

I left my house at 11am to head into the neighboring town. It is the only place within a 10 minute drive that I can get a acai bowl. The place is called The Dancing Blender and they have a large menu with juices, smoothies, sandwiches, salads and my favorite bowl. I have not tried anything else but they all seem very good. To cheer up the place there is a young lady, probably around my age, at the register with an amazing aura. It just attracts people in a pleasant way. She also has the biggest warmest smile in place so she just makes people want to smile back.

Have to get going!

My planning turned out to be poor. I thought an hour would have been plenty of time to get to the lady I work with but I was very, very wrong. Running late I shot across town to jump on the parkway. I needed more time and had to make up for it with speed. At every red light I munched on my bowl until I hit the highway where I need both hands.

The parkway was a bit packed but I was able to weave in and out between the gaps in the lanes. I will never understand why people cannot keep a simple pace. If they want to move slow then fine, but in the SLOW lane. NOT in the middle of the highway. Luckily, I made it to the lady I work with 5 minutes after our scheduled meeting time, 12:35pm. To my surprise she was nowhere near ready. I was rushing even though I had time to spare. It was okay though because I was able to help her son and his friend, who joined us for the day, finish loading up.

Around 1pm we left.

Let the catering begin!

Today we were going to be catering for a very lovely lady who has helped us in the past with other jobs. It was her mother’s 80th birthday party and we were invited to help with the celebration. With eight items on the menu it was going to be an interesting one. And it was.

(photo found on Google images)

For 2 and a half hours we served people like never before. Her son and friend actually walked around with a tray like servants at a black-tie party handing out little plates of hors d’oeuvres. It was a weird one but it seemed to be functioning well for our first time attempting something like this.

Towards the end of the shift is when people started to get picky. Some wanted one item where others wanted another. Honestly, we did not pay too much attention to it. We had many things to push out and not much time left to do it. So instead we put it all together and sent the boys out. The crowd was able to pick as they pleased.

By 6pm we finished. As we packed up we got a little surprise. Rain. Yes, once again the rain comes out of nowhere. It is really odd how often this is happening. But it only lasted for about 10 minutes so it was fine. The rain was also really cold which felt good against my skin after sweating away.

Let finish up the day.

On the way back to her house we stopped at Wawa for milkshakes. We worked hard so why not treat ourselves with a little reward. The small things in life are always the best. Especially the sweet drinkable desserts. Yum!

Milkshakes_VS

(photo found on Google images)

Back at her house we unloaded everything and as the kids went into the basement to hangout she and I stepped outside. For 10 minutes we sat on the porch talking about the future of her business. I have faith it will work out but she is the ‘doubt’ phase. I am not confident that her feeling will pass once everything is up and running itself. It also got me thinking about my own business.

I envy her will to grow as a business owner and question my own ability. Am I meant to run a business or meant to work for someone the rest of my life? I tell myself I need to work harder at it but yet I have not begun to. I really need to think about my future more and truly learn how to prioritize.

Have You Ever Been Here…

Fri. August 3, 2018

A fantastic day awaits!

I woke up at 9:45am with the intent to get up a lot earlier. To add to it I stayed in bed until 10:20 when I realized my morning was running short. I needed to leave by 11 in order to hit the road and meet with the lady I work with. Today was our day off but we decided to hang out and head into PA.

Before heading her way, I made a stop at the bank to deposit some money. My account was getting low and bills needed to get paid. I really wanted to stop somewhere for breakfast but I left the house after 11 cutting my drive time. All morning I was thinking about an acai bowl and how delicious it would be. Too bad I could not stop. Making my way to her I could tell today’s weather was going be weird. The clouds were grey but very blue in certain spots. Almost like yesterday but a bit sunnier.

At her house by 12pm we hit the road together. Today was going to be my first day seeing her new café. I have been meaning to take a drive for it but never had the opportunity so I was excited we were going. I was probably more excited to hang out with her outside of work.

What a meal!

The café is in New Hope, Pennsylvania. About an hour out from where we live. It is far but well worth it. The town is beautiful. Lots to see, do and eat. The best part is that the really good food is across the bridge in Lambertville. Before she took me to see the café we stopped at an amazing Mexican Peruvian restaurant, El Tule. From the outside it looks like a house but on the inside a completely different feel. Small but spacious, warm and comforting and just a great place to be. They even have seating outside so people can enjoy the weather while they eat.

While there we placed our order as we waited for her delivery of supplies to arrive at the café. It was the main reason for being in town. The second our food hit the table she got a call. The delivery was waiting for her. She had to go. Leaving me at the table with two plates of food. Man the looks I got were intense. They must have thought she had broken up with me. If only they knew it was business. It was funny. The waitress even wrapped up her food to go. For 30 minutes I must have looked lonely because the waitress was very sweet.

20180803_135600.jpg

The lady I work with did come back and the waitress being as sweet as she was re-plated the food and heated it up. Great place.

The new place, sort of.

After getting our fills we went back into New Hope so I could get a tour. First up was the café. Nice and spacious with 13 or so shops ranging from deserts to drinks to meals. I cannot wait to start working the counter. It is going to be a great change of pace for the winter. Not only that, I plan on making friends with everyone there so I can try all of their foods.

ferry-market_orig.jpg

(photo found on Google images)

After that we walked the town as we waited for her second delivery to arrive. We viewed the river bend from a place we probably should not have. Visited many shops with many random and interested things. Especially this one really cool shop Celt-Iberia Traders Inc by the Bucks County Playhouse. They had very well-crafted jewelry, clothing, pottery and little items.

Speaking of clothing they had a really nice blazer that I wanted. It cost $250 but would have looked great on me. The only problem was they did not have slim sizes. The smallest blazer they had I could swim in. But there was a hat she really liked but did not want to buy herself. After talking about it for 15 minutes I picked it up, brought it to the register and handed the man my debit card. She did not want me to buy it but the hat looked cute on her and she deserved it.

Walking back to the café she was able to get in contact with the delivery driver of her second shipment. His estimate of time was horrible. Sitting at the café we waited for a half an hour for him come. While waiting we had smoothies and juice from our new neighbors, GreenStraw. I have a feeling we will be buying from them often.

greenstraw-smoothies

The side job.

Finally arriving, the delivery man rolled the merchandise across the street and through the door on his pallet jack. Him leaving us, we were a bit screwed. He left the salad bar blocking a doorway that is unusable, as instructed, but the property manager, maybe someone else, was not having it. We had to unpack the heavy thing that required more work than necessary. After cutting the plastic wrap and cables we had to cut the box open. Simple. The complicated part was ripping the wooden planks apart from themselves to get it out. It took us a bit.

Around 7:15pm we finished and headed out. To reward ourselves she introduced me to a very tasty ice cream shop called oWowCowHandmade ice cream with multiple unique flavors. It was so good that after walking around town eating it, I went back for a cup to eat on the way home.

We got to her house by 8:30, said our goodbyes as she left to pick up a few more items for a catering we have tomorrow. I sat with her some chatting before his friend came by. At that moment I took off. I was beat from the heat of the day.

Home by 10 I relaxed for a bit before jumping in the shower to turning in for the night.

P.S.

The entire day it rained on and off. What is up with this weather?

The Day After Is Better Than The Last!

Thurs. August, 2, 2018

It’s a better day.

I tried my best this morning to write before leaving the house. I even woke up early around 8am in hopes of redeeming myself from yesterday. I just could not get a hold on anything with my mind shut down and will broken. This time I did a little something and it felt great.

Today the lady I work with and I met at a Party City headquarters. We have been there before and really enjoyed the company and its people. I have yet to meet someone grouchy or snotty. They are all happy and excited. It is actually really cool to see that many people from one building could be so enthusiastic. But before I got there I had to get something in me that would put a smile on my face.

Across the street for the office building is a Dunkin Donuts. It is so close that if I really wanted to I could have parked at Party City and just walked over. While at the register the cashier guy let me in on a new item. Something that I never thought would happen but makes sense as far a business tactic. They now sell chicken strips. That is right, chicken strips. I did not try them but I was told they are not that bad. Kudos to Dunkin’ for trying to make a dollar.

Working at the headquarters was great. That was until it started to rain and stop and then return without a warning. Not even the weather person could have predicted this sporadic downpour. Sometimes it would drizzle and out of nowhere just drop buckets of water for all to wear. The good thing about it, the rain was cool and felt amazing.

On to the next.

We finished up around 2:30pm. Leaving the headquarters an hour later to head towards our next location for dinner. It was about 25 minutes away and seemed simple to get to. Within 3 minutes of actually getting there I made a wrong turn on the highway getting rerouted for an extra 10 minutes. I could not believe how close, yet so far I was. I was so confused as to how I ended up in that position. But believe or not everything worked out. I had to sit at so many red lights that I was able to eat my late lunch. I was happy.

Finally, at the location I met up with her. To think I was behind her the whole time until that wrong turn. I am surprised that she never brought it up honestly thinking she would. It seemed me getting lost was not important. What was important, getting everything set up once again for dinner.

For about 2 hours it poured again. Leaving us in doubt of any profitability. But then out of nowhere the skies cleared up, not a single cloud, and the sun was out nice and bright. I do not remember ever experiencing a day like this. From darkness to light, back to darkness to light. I think the heavens were even confused.

The rest of the night we did well. Just a little over lunch making coming out in this crazy weather worth it. After a day like this I was glad to see us in the green. We were worried that we would not be.

Go relax.

10pm. On the way home I could see the sky lighting up as if it were fourth of July again. The rain was coming for its finally show and I knew it would be heavy. Luckily, I made it home in time. Just as I pulled into the driveway it started to drizzle. As I pulled out my house keys it started to pour. Thank goodness we left when we did.

P.S.

Those USB Type-C cables that I ordered the other day, work great!

Have You Ever Been In A Funk?

Weds. August 1, 2018

Sometimes I wake up in funk.

Days like these I just want to be in bed and lay there like a rock. I know it is not healthy but it is comforting to be wrapped in my quit. No matter how comfortable I could not stay there. I had to force myself up or else my mood would not change.

Today was my day off which meant if I really wanted to I could have glued myself to the bed. But I did not and in fact I was up by 10:30am. The plan for today was to take my car in to the mechanic. It is due for maintenance but I could not muster up the will to leave the house. Getting out of bed was more than enough of a challenge.

But that was not all.

For breakfast I decided that coffee would be a great pick me up. A little caffeine to get me going. I made myself two cups that were disastrous. I ended up throwing them both out because they tasted funny. I have no clue as too why since I make my coffee in a specific way. The same way every time. It must have been my taste buds. Maybe they were still asleep. Without the Joe I had waffles pairing it with the only other thing possible, orange juice.

After folding several loads of laundry yesterday I had more to do. This time I needed to wash. Work clothes to be exact. I always wash them separately because I never know what I have on me. Luckily this was a small load with only three outfits and a few pair of socks. Sadly after washing them I never folded them. I was no longer in the mood. I did move on to other projects.

Trying to keep active within the house, I shifted from physical activity to mental. I thought if I could get my mind focused on something else it would help. So I wrote for a bit. Or I tried to. My funk left me not wanting to do a thing. No matter what I did I could find an interest. That led me to not being productive and watching “Arrow.” Then the show hit a ‘cross over’ forcing me to start “Flash.” They really know how to get someone hooked.

Enough was enough!

I wanted to use my brain so I put it work by trying to turn an old router into a Wi-Fi range extender. The router has the feature or function for it in settings but for some reason I just could not get it. Even YouTube could not help. I failed. Now that I learned how not to get it working I am going to buy one. Much easier.

During the headache of the router my second package from Amazon arrived. My watch bands! I have been waiting for them for days! I was so excited to be able to replace my broken bands that I torn the package in half just to get to it. The bands were very crisp and new. After 10 minutes the watch was looking brand new. I could not tell it was a 10 year old watch. Casio is amazing!

After putting the watch on my wrist I went onto washing the dishes. I wanted to cook dinner tonight but I needed a somewhat clear sink. Around 5pm is when I began to throw down. Rice, beans, oven baked chicken. I want to say it came tasty but truth be told not so much.

As I ate I could tell that time has gotten between me and the stove. My rice was mushy, the beans missing flavor and the chicken…too much parsley. Way too much. But I had a meal so I grateful.

Night night.

To end the night I watch some more TV before jumping in the showering. All cleaned up talked to my girlfriend for a little while I set up my PS4 to update. It has been off for a couple of months and nothing was playable without an update. Wanted to play something I updated my PC gaming hardware. After getting everything working, I jumped on Fortnite for about an hour. Since I have never played on my PC my skills were below novice. Got a few good shots off but no kills. The games did not last long.

In bed by 1:30am.
