I woke up a little bit earlier than normal for a Sunday, 9:30am.
Just like yesterday I went straight to my desk. Writing as I wake up is liberating. After an hour of typing away I went to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water. I had cotton mouth and needed to clean my throat. Then back to it.
Today is Mother’s Day.
Our first bonding session started at the kitchen table. From 12 – 2pm she and I played our individual favorite mobile games. My mother’s Toon Blast! and mine M.O.E. She probably passed level 800 by now. I was dedicated to gathering crystals and in those two hours I accomplished my goal. When we get started our focus is dedicated to victory. It was a good time.

Afterwards I went on to do my own thing. The morning started off childish so I kept it going. The movie series Cars has to be a favorite of mine since the first trailer. (Planes as well) I do not know why but they are interesting to me. The latest movie that came out, last year, was Cars 3 and I never had the chance to see it. Well I took the opportunity to watch it today. It was a great movie. Probably my favorite one out of the bunch. It very inspiring with amazing life lessons and sayings that can change the way a person thinks. My favorite quote is “You can use anything negative as fuel to push through to the positive!”

With the movie finished and me comfortable on my toosh, I decided to switch to something else. I have been on a role with the show “Blindspot“ waiting for some big reveal. I am still on season one hoping to finish it up soon so I can get to the juicy stuff in season two.
For some reason it could not compare.
I thought after watching a cartoon movie that a crime show would keep me entertained. It did not. I watched one episode and it ended there. I had no more interest in the show but it was a great episode. Around 4:30 I switched from watching TV to playing Call of Duty: World at War 2 on the PS4. For a couple of games straight I was victorious. Nothing but top three. Even after I started to lose my mojo the matches were great.

About 2 and a half hours later my sister passes by and drops off my nephew. They had been out all day and the baby refused to take a decent nap. So, while went out shopping for the week I watched the baby for a few hours. Good call on her part because by 9pm it started to downpour. By the time she got back getting the baby out of the car and keeping him dry would have been a challenge.
Either way she came back with dinner for us. Panera Bread. I do not remember the last time I had it but I do remember the last time I tried to get it. I was rudely disappointed when I walked up to the door and it was locked but that is old news. She bought me the usual order – Pick 2, tuna salad sandwich, chicken noodle soup, chips, bread, and passion fruit green tea. Delicious! To make the meal even better, I ate it while laughing at a DashieGames video.
After dinner, around 10:15pm, I jumped back on Call of Duty. At the same time, I watched my best friend stream the new God of War. The game really is a beauty to watch and seems to play much better than previous versions but still keeping it good old feel. Sad to say a good guy we play with every now and again lost his grandmother 2 weeks ago. I remember last year when I lost mine so it hurt. My prayers go out to you and your family.
